Julian Ward is expected to be named Liverpool's new sporting director, with Van Dijk, Alisson, Gomez, Tsimikas and Endo out of contract next summer.
Julian Ward will have plenty on his plate if, as expected, he is named Liverpool's new sporting director. Virgil van Dijk, Alisson, Joe Gomez, Kostas Tsimikas and Wataru Endo are all out of contract next summer. Then there’s also Rio Ngumoha’s future to address. The most obvious area of the squad that needs enhancing is midfield, and Liverpool retain a strong interest in Monaco’s Lamine Camara. There is also the important task of building and strengthening relationships, not least with the club's head coach Andoni Iraola. 📝 @JamesPearceLFC 🔗
