Manchester City are guilty of almost all the charges levelled at them by the Premier League. What we still don’t know is how they will be punished. And that is the thorniest of issues. If it's a fine, what would be enough? £830.7m? And what would happen to the money? If they get docked points, how and when should that be applied? 40 points for the next five seasons? Should City be stripped of titles? Would that really do any good? And the same could be said about a transfer ban, given the knock-on effect it would have on so many other clubs. And what about individual punishments for the people who made the decisions to break the rules? @NickMiller79 🔗
