"He’s a hothead, passionate, probably too temperamental." That's the opinion of someone who knows Lisandro Martinez well and has a positive view of him. The Manchester United centre-back has caused chaos this week after publicly slamming the club's hierarchy. He apologised on Thursday but his future is uncertain, and he is believed to be open to a move to Spain, like his good friend Cristian Romero. Nicknamed 'The Butcher' at Ajax but 'the saint' by others owing to his spirituality, Martinez resists easy categorisation.
