Pierre Sage says he does not know whether he will be given time to turn things around at Crystal Palace after a humiliating five-goal defeat at Brighton. “I don’t know,” Sage said in his post-match press conference after being asked whether he would have the chance to rectify things. “I just want to apologise to the fans because it’s not normal to show this face for this club against this other club and we are not at the level we expected. I am really sorry for that because I know how important it is for them. “We didn’t show that today it was really important for us too. We didn’t understand in which context this game was played.” More from @MattWoosie
