Michael Carrick admitted that Manchester United have “lost our way”, as he opened his press conference on Friday with a five-and-a-half-minute monologue. Before taking questions ahead of Saturday’s visit of Bournemouth in the Premier League, Carrick addressed the assembled media with a speech in which he acknowledged that the club has “lost its way” but said he “totally convinced we will get it back”. Carrick admitted the club’s form has nosedived after “five months of relative success” at the tail end of last season and said it was his responsibility to build a team that supporters could be proud of. 📝 @lauriewhitwell and @reallycerys Read Carrick’s monologue in full for free here ⬇️ 🔗
