Michael Carrick stays in interim charge of Manchester United for Saturday's trip to Chelsea.
Polymarket when the story was published: Chelsea 55% · Draw 25% · Man United 23%
Are Manchester United really backing Michael Carrick? Or just delaying the inevitable? Carrick will be in charge of United's trip to Chelsea on Saturday but they have a gruelling run of fixtures ahead: Roma (h), Aston Villa (h), Liverpool (a), Sporting CP (a), Brentford (h). For United to break this cycle of dysfunction, there needs to be genuine conviction in the boardroom and the dressing room that Carrick is the right man to do it. 📝 @reallycerys 🔗
