Xabi Alonso has confirmed Chelsea have held no talks over the possibility of sending Estevao out on loan in January. There has been increasing speculation about the future of the 19-year-old, who has just been called up to the Brazil squad for a second time this season despite his lack of game time at Chelsea. But when asked if Estevao could be allowed to leave in the new year in order to get more first-team football, the Chelsea manager replied: “No, (there have been) no discussions about that. “It (Estevao’s lack of matches) is not about attitude. It has been about the context of games, it has been about the start of the season and he is a great guy.
