Emiliano Martinez has said he is still “playing with pain” after opting against surgery on a broken finger in order to feature at the World Cup with Argentina. The goalkeeper added that his finger “won’t ever return” to being how it was, with the bone “out of place”. Martinez is currently sidelined after suffering a broken jaw, but said that his newest injury does not rank anywhere close to the pain he endured with his finger during the World Cup. 📝 @LeonImber 🔗
