Whether this would become a permanent appointment or remain an interim solution is still open. The 34 y/o is highly regarded and has built an excellent network over the past few years. He joined FC Bayern as a scout in December 2024 and was promoted to Chief Scout under Schmadtke. Christopher Vivell, also highly regarded at FC Bayern and has a close relationship with Christoph Freund.
